The Holy Shrine of Amir al Muminin Ali is located in Najaf, Iraq. It is the third holiest site of the 200 million followers of the Shia Muslims. Next to the grave of Ali are the graves of Adam and Nuh. The Shrine of Husain ibn Ali is one of the oldest holy sites of Shiah Islam on the earth in the city of Karbala, Iraq. Karbala, is the most holiest city for Shia pilgrimage after Makkah, Madinah and Najaf. Every year, millions of pilgrims (more than in Haj) visit the city to observe Ashurah and Arbayeen. The Shrine of Abbas Ibn Ali is the second holy place in Karbala, Iraq, the burial place of the brave son of Amir al Muminin Ali, and half-brother of Imam Husain, and is located close to the Shrine of Imam Husain. Pilgrims, travelers and tourist frequently visit these Mashhad. Visiting the Mashhad of Ahl al Bait for Ziyarah and to recite Ziyarah Salaam is a total submission of a devotee with his heart and soul. There is a deep understanding in the words of Ziyarah of Abi Abdillah al Imam al Husain:

"O Moula Husain! How I wish that I was in Karbala with you and had been among those Shuhada who sacrificed their lives upon you for your cause and achieve Najaat."

This Salaam has great significance in the life of a devotee of Ahl al Bait. When he recites this Salaam he rejects the wrong desires of the world from his heart. Therefore Zikr al Husain has great importance in the life of a Muslim Mumin; indeed it is an elixir of eternal life.
